KAMARUDDIN Hamzah
Director
Dato' Kamaruddin joined the corporate world
after a distinguished career with the Royal Malaysian Police, where
he retired at the rank of Deputy Commissioner and in the post of
Chief Police Officer of Selangor. He holds a Diploma in Police Science.
Dato' Kamaruddin is a highly respected community leader and holds
committee positions in several business and voluntary organisations.
He is also currently on the board of directors in a few public listed
companies.

Whai
Oon TAN
Managing Director and Head of Fund and Portfolio Management
Whai Oon holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons)
degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada, the Fund Manager's
representative licence and is also a Certified Financial Planner
(Financial Planning Association of Malaysia).
Whai Oon was instrumental in the setting up of the company in 1992
and is directly responsible in building the SJAM business to where
it is currently.
He has significant investment experience since 1987 commencing with
his five-year tenure with Nomura Singapore Ltd where he received
intensive training at Nomura Securities Co. Ltd in Tokyo. During
his time in Nomura, he provided investment advisory and fund management
services to clients and possesses a deep knowledge of Asian financial
markets.
Prior to his posting at Nomura, Whai Oon was an Assistant Brand
Manager at what was then Beecham Products (Far East) Sdn Bhd where
he was responsible for brand management for some of its consumer
product lines.

Julie
Chooi Har CHIN
General Manager, Operations & Client Liaison
Julie holds a Bachelor of Administration and Economics from York
University in Canada. She joined SJAM in 1992 as an Operations Executive
and has progressed to her current position where she is responsible
for the operations and client liaison of the company.
Her previous work experience includes a stint as an Operations Executive
with a freight forwarding company for three years and two years
at SJ Securities Sdn Bhd as an Operations Assistant.

IMRAN Ho Abdullah
Investment Committee Member
Dato' Imran is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants (ACMA), Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries
and Administrators (ACIS) and also a member of the Malaysian Institute
of Accountants (MIA).
Dato' Imran is presently a director of a company that is involved
in the supply of oil and gas.
Prior to his current posting, Dato' Imran held the position of an
executive director from 1998 to 2002 in Indah Water Konsortium Sdn
Bhd and Prime Utilities Bhd and was the Managing Director of Perstima
Bhd in 1998.
He has also held directorships in companies such as Idris Hydraulic
(M) Bhd, Gamuda Berhad, Kesas Sdn Bhd and various other companies.
In the period from 1994 to 1996, Dato' Imran was the chief executive
officer of the Parit Perak Bhd.

Meng Seng LIM
Senior Vice-President, Business Development
William holds a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree and a Masters of Business Administration (majoring in Finance)
from the California State University, Fresno, U.S.A. and the Fund
Manager's representative licence.
William is responsible for the expansion of the company's client
and product base.
Prior to SJAM, William was attached to a research house as a research
executive and was also a Dealer's representative at Rashid Hussein
Securities Sdn Bhd.

MEOR
Khairi Bazid
Chief Investment Officer
Meor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) (majoring
in Finance) and a Master of Business Administration from University
of Toledo, Ohio, USA as well as the Fund Manager's representative
licence.
Meor has been involved in the investment field for more than twelve
years and is currently responsible for formulating investment strategies
including the market/economic review and outlook as well as supervising
the investment research department.
His previous work experience included a stint at Arab-Malaysian
Merchant Bank Bhd and DR Group Holdings Sdn Bhd.

NIK Mohamed Sidek B. Nik Abu Bakar
Investment Committee Member
Dato' Nik holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree
in Economics from University of Malaya, a Diploma in Economics,
American Economic Association as well as a Masters of Arts degree
in Public Policy and Administration (majoring in Development Economics)
from the University of Wisconsin. He is also a fellow of the Economic
Development Institute, Washington D.C.
Dato' Nik began his career with the Economic Planning Unit, Prime
Minister's department in 1967 and also worked in various government
organisations including MIDA and the Federal Treasury. He also served
as a Loan Officer at the World Bank in Washington D.C.
In 1983, he joined Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank ("AMMB") where he
was promoted to the position of Executive Director. At AMMB, he
held directorships in various subsidiaries and associate companies
within the group.
Dato' Nik is currently also the Executive Chairman of Mega Logistic
Holdings Bhd.

Aik
Heang TAN
Manager, Finance & Administration
Aik Heang is an associate member of the Chartered
Institute of Management Accountants.
Aik Heang joined SJAM in 1995 and is overseeing the finance and
administrative function of the SJAM group.
Prior to joining SJAM, Aik Heang worked as an Accounts Executive
at a private company and was also an auditor at Hun & Co.

Eileen
Choi Khow TAN
Investment Committee Member
Eileen holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons)
from University of Malaya.
Eileen is currently managing her own investment company. Prior to
this, Eileen was the CEO of a foreign-owned group of companies with
interests in value-added telecommunication, convergent technology
and call center services.
Eileen also has 14 years' experience in managing private equity
investments and 4 years' experience in research. Eileen also has
experience in corporate management, corporate restructuring and
corporate turnarounds. From 1996 to 2000, Eileen was the Managing
Director of Citicorp Capital Sdn Bhd and Vice President of Citibank
Berhad and was responsible for the private investment portfolio
in Malaysia. Prior to Citicorp, Eileen was attached to American
International Assurance Co. Ltd, as the Head of Direct Investment
and was responsible for the direct investment portfolio of AIA-Malaysian
life funds and third party funds.

Ging Ging WONG
General Manager, Corporate Affairs
Annie
holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Chisholm Institute
of Technology (now amalgamated as Monash University), Melbourne,
Australia and is a CPA (CPA Australia), Chartered Accountant (Malaysian
Institute of Accountants) and a Certified Financial Planner (Financial
Planning Association of Malaysia).
She has been with SJAM since 1996 and is responsible for the corporate
affairs of the SJAM group.
Prior to SJAM, Annie was attached to the audit unit of Coopers &
Lybrand, K.L. and also headed the Accounts & Admin. unit of Toshiba
Electronics Trading (M) Sdn Bhd.
