Introduction

User Registration Guide
Thank you for your interest in SJAM-iassist.
You will have to register as a user in order to utilise the services available.

Please read the Terms and Conditions that govern the use of SJAM-iassist before proceeding to register as a user. You must click on the checkbox to indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions as stated in the agreement.

Remember, if you do not accept the terms, you will not be able to register and utilise SJAM-iassist.

How to register as a user

Types of User

Register as Member
Guests who register as Member will enjoy 30 days FREE access to SJAM Research Articles upon successful registration online with us. At the end of this 30 days' TRIAL period, your User ID and Password will automatically expire.

To continue enjoying these features, you may consider opening an account with SJAM and gain full access to all the services. Alternatively you can also contact us to make other arrangements.

Register as Client
You must be an existing client of SJAM in order to register as Client.

For those who wish to open an account with SJAM, please click on Open Account.

After your Account application has been approved, your account information including your Account Name and Account Number will be sent to you via mail. You may then register as a Client to use SJAM-iassist.

Registration Form


Member Registration Form
Member Particulars
To register as a member, you will have to fill in your personal particulars at the Member Registration Form. All fields that are marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory fields. The registration process will not be completed if one of these fields is left blank.

To fill in the "Country of Citizenship" and "Country" fields, click on the icon next to the field and select the appropriate item.

Member SJAM-iassist Account Info
All fields in this section are mandatory. Please choose any Login Name and Password of your choice. The Login Name and Password must contain a minimum of 6 characters.

If the Login Name that you entered has already been used, please select a new Login Name to complete the registration process.

Member Investment Profile
This section contains a set of multiple choice questions that help us understand your investment needs and strategy.

Client Registration Form
Client Particulars
As a client of SJAM, you are entitled to enjoy full access to SJAM-iassist. Please supply your current Account Name and Account No during registration to get a Login Name, Password and PIN of your choice.

All fields in the Client Registration Form are mandatory. Incomplete/blank fields will result in the registration being unsuccessfully processed. If these fields do not contain the right combination of Account Name and Account No, you will have to re-enter the correct information.

For security reasons, you are only allowed 3 attempts to enter the right combination of Account Name and No. After the third failure, the system will not accept any further registration for this Account at this point. You will have to call Mai Chiak Too of SJAM at 03-2715 0988 ext.127 to revive your Account.

How to log into your SJAM-iassist Account

Login Name and Password
To login to your SJAM-iassist Account, please use the Login Name and Password that you selected during the registration process.

Activation of PIN
Upon client registration, an SJAM administrator will contact you to verify that your registration is genuine. This extra security measure is taken by us to provide you the assurance that activation of your PIN will only be done upon the completion of the necessary verification process. After confirming your identity, the PIN number that you submitted for registration will then be activated. Please be informed that your PIN is secured as it is encrypted throughout the entire system. As such your PIN is only known to you. In the event you forget your PIN, you will need to apply for a new PIN as we are unable to decrypt your existing PIN.

Suspension of Password and PIN
You will have a total of 3 attempts to enter your password correctly. If the login failure happens for the 1st time, an error message will appear. If the login failure occurs for the 2nd time, a warning message will appear. Upon reaching the 3rd login failure, your Login Name will be suspended immediately. You will have to call Mai Chiak Too of SJAM at 03-2715 0988 ext. 127 to have your Login Name revived.

Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can submit your Login Name to SJAM for us to verify your account and reset your password. This can be done by clicking on the "Forgot Your Password?" link at the side navigation bar of SJAM-iassist site.

Forgot PIN
If you have forgotten your PIN, you can submit a request to change your existing PIN to a new PIN. This can be done by clicking on the "Account Information" link on the side navigation bar. Under the "Update" subfolder, you can then click on the "Forget PIN" link to submit your request. All fields in this section are mandatory.

Please note that you are only allowed to submit your request ONCE. Any other attempt to resubmit a PIN-change request while it is still pending approval will not be allowed.

How to manage your SJAM-iassist Account

Changing of Password
To change your password, click on the "Account Information" link on the side navigation bar. Under the "Update" subfolder, click on the "Change Password" link to update your password. All fields in this section are mandatory.

Changing of PIN
To change your PIN, click on the "Account Information" link on the side navigation bar. Under the "Update" subfolder, click on the "Change PIN" link to update your PIN. All fields in this section are mandatory.

How to view Research Articles

Search
To search for Research Articles, go to the "Search Material" subfolder. You can perform a search by category.

Search by Category
All the Research Articles have been categorised into different categories. To perform a search, you are required to select a category from the drop down list box.

It is optional to include a sub-category in your search. To do so, click on the icon next to the field. This will display an LOV (List of Values) window, showing a list of sub-category groups available for selection. Just click on any sub-category code you want to perform a search on and the value will be selected in the corresponding field.

To further narrow your search, you can also choose to search for Research Articles on a specified date. The first drop down list will display all the months in a calendar year and the next drop down list will display the years from 1981 to the most recent.

After the search criteria has been defined, you can now click on the 'Search' button. Click on the 'Reset' button if you want to change or reset your search criteria.

 

 

View
To view Research Articles, you can click on the Research folder where articles are classified into different categories. All these categories are further divided into sub-categories.

For example if you click on the 'Country Outlook' category, a list of countries will be displayed. Simply select by clicking on a Country and all research articles for that specific country will be listed.

These articles are sorted by date with the most recent article on top, followed by title in alphabetical order.
